Forestry Industry

The Swedish forestry industry is in an intensive development phase. They are striving to have even better control of the flow of timber from the forest through to industry. Sawmills require correct and up to date information in order to coordinate the interaction of production and demand. Triona has for many years supplied systems to Swedish forestry companies and sawmills. The challenge is to create effective systems that integrate well into our customer’s business processes.

 

Triona has experience of creating solutions for forestry as a workflow process covering purchasing, production planning, and operational support for felling and transportation for both the timber and bio-energy sectors. We participate in the Papinet and Stanli standardisation forums and have systems handling the data transfer both to and from SDC (The Swedish Forestry Authority).

Triona’s Klar system is a complete business application suite for sawmills and other processing industries. The system supports both production and business processes and greatly contributes to management and operational monitoring. We also have a system for road management based on the Swedish Transport Authority’s road data.
